Terms and Conditions of Sale

(hereinafter referred to as the “Seller”)

2. Products

The products offered are stroller accessories, including magnetic connector systems.

The Calilou system is only compatible with certain strollers listed on the product pages. Calilou is not affiliated with any stroller brands.

Safety

The product is intended as a usage aid and does not replace the user’s vigilance.

The user must always keep both hands on the stroller handles and must never leave a child unattended.

Installation and use of the product may modify the behavior of the stroller.

3. Prices

Prices are displayed in euros including VAT for the European Union, unless otherwise stated.

Applicable shipping costs are displayed before final order confirmation.

For orders shipped outside the European Union, taxes, customs duties or import fees may be charged by local authorities and remain the responsibility of the customer.

4. Orders

Any order implies full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

The Seller reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in the event of prior dispute with the customer, suspected fraud, clearly incorrect information or non-payment.

5. Payment

Payment is due immediately upon placing the order using the payment methods available on the Shopify store (bank card, etc.).

The customer’s banking data is not accessible to the Seller and is processed by secure payment providers.

6. Delivery

Detailed preparation, shipping and delivery conditions are set out in the Shipping Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms and Conditions.

Delivery times are provided for information purposes only.

Unless otherwise stated, delivery shall take place no later than 30 days from order confirmation.

In the event of an incomplete or incorrect address, repeated absence, failure to collect the parcel or refusal of delivery attributable to the customer, incurred logistics costs may remain payable by the customer under the conditions set out in the Refund Policy.

7. Withdrawal – Returns – Refunds

Where required by applicable law, consumer customers have a period of 14 days from receipt of the order to exercise their right of withdrawal.

Detailed conditions relating to returns, refunds, possible exclusions, fixed contributions toward return costs and practical procedures are set out in the Refund Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms and Conditions.

8. Non-Eligible Items

The following items are not eligible for return where permitted by applicable law:

personalized products;
custom-made products;
gift cards.

Sale or discounted items remain eligible for the right of withdrawal unless a lawful exception applies.

9. Liability

The Seller shall not be held liable in particular for:

use not in accordance with instructions;
incorrect installation or fastening;
incompatibility with a model not listed as compatible;
lack of child supervision;
indirect, consequential or non-material damages.

The user remains solely responsible for use of the product, regular tightening checks and verification before use.

10. Personal Data

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable regulations and the Privacy Policy available on the website.

11. Intellectual Property

All content available on the website (texts, images, logos, videos, documents, design, graphics and other elements) is the exclusive property of Miilae / Calilou, unless third-party rights apply, and may not be reproduced without prior written authorization.

12. Disputes and Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law, subject to any mandatory consumer protection provisions applicable in the customer’s country of residence.

In the event of difficulty, an amicable solution shall be sought first.

Consumer customers may refer the matter to the competent court of their place of residence where permitted by law.

In accordance with applicable legal provisions, the customer may also use a consumer mediation service free of charge.
